Thomas Eugene McMinn, 68, a loving husband and devoted father, passed away on December 18th. He was the son of the late Tommy and Marlene McMinn of North Olmsted, Ohio. He is survived by his wife, Jennifer (Nagel) McMinn; his son, Jacob (Holly); his daughter, Madalyn (Austin) Pifher; and four cherished grandchildren who brought him endless joy.
Born in Western Pennsylvania, Thomas moved to Cleveland as a child, where he built a life rooted in hard work and community. A self-employed mechanic, he was known for his skill, dedication, and willingness to help others. Thomas enjoyed the outdoors, spending time fishing, camping, and hunting, and was involved in organizations that reflected his values, including the Boy Scouts, The Freemasons, as well as the Shriners.
Above all, Thomas treasured time with his family. His legacy lives on in the love he shared, and the memories created with those closest to him.
A celebration of life will be arranged in the Cincinnati and Avon areas after the first of the year. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the SPCA, honoring Tom’s lifelong passion for dogs.
He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
