Thomas Keith Knauff, age 66, of New Vienna, passed away peacefully Thursday, January 15, 2026, at Court House Manor in Washington Court House, Ohio. He was born February 9, 1959, in Wilmington, Ohio the son of Charles D. and Martha J. (Williams) Knauff. Keith was the big brother to Phil Knauff who precedes him. He was also preceded by his father Charlie “Fibber” Knauff; his beloved grandparents, Josephine and Homer Williams, and Agnes and Charles Knauff; and his step- grandfather Oscar VanPelt. Keith was a 1977 graduate from East Clinton High School where he was a four-year letterman on the golf team. He continued to play golf at Snow Hill Country Club as well as many other golf courses throughout the area. After graduating, Keith held odd jobs at various companies, but he will be most likely remembered for his job with Dish Network. At that time satellite TV was fairly new and his customers had many questions. Keith took the time to help everyone, especially when they “pushed the wrong button.” Later on, Keith helped run the family business, Knauff and Sons Motor Sales. Keith was known for his love of Ohio State Football, the Cincinnati Bengals, the Rolling Stones, and Aerosmith. The stories from the games and concerts he attended are legendary and will continue to be told time and time again. Keith’s memory will be kept alive by those that joined on this great journey. He was recently described as one of a kind, and Keith would most likely agree. He will be missed. Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 24, 2026, at the New Vienna Church of Christ. Those attending are encouraged to wear something with the Rolling Stones, Bengals, Buckeyes, or Aerosmith. Burial will follow services in Auburn Cemetery near Hillsboro. Visitation will be held Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. at the church. Brown Funeral Home, Wilmington, is assisting the family.
