Timothy Joe DeBoard

Timothy Joe DeBoard, age 62, of Leesburg, passed away Thursday, July 22, 2021 at the Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton.  He was born January 28, 1959 in Wilmington, the son of the late Charles and Shirley (Evans) DeBoard.  Tim was a very giving person and had touched many lives.  His life was touched in 2019, being a recipient of a Kidney, and because of that gift, and his love for people, he said he would be honored to be a donor at his time of death.  That honor was fulfilled.  Tim had worked with the Kroger Company for more than 40 years, an in his spare time, he enjoyed fishing.  But above all, Tim enjoyed his family and friends, to whom he was dedicated, and loved very much.   He is survived by his wife of nearly 42 years, Julie Rainell (Hess) DeBoard, to who he married November 9, 1979 in Clinton County; daughters, Brandi Denniston of Leesburg, and Stephanie (Marcus) DeBoard-Paeltz of Bethel; grandchildren, Gavin Denniston, Caydn Denniston, Bristol Paeltz, and William Brantley Paeltz; siblings, Randy (Vicki) DeBoard of Wilmington, Jeff DeBoard of New Vienna, Sherry (Scot) Gerber of Sabina, Semour (Sherry) DeBoard of Cincinnati, and Mindy DeBoard of Wilmington; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins; and special friend from dialysis, George Morrell of Wilmington.  In addition to his parents, Tim is preceded in death by sisters, Toni Bisig and Kathy DeBoard.  Funeral services will take place 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at Brown Funeral Home, Wilmington.  Tim’s nephew, Chad DeBoard, will officiate.  Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service at 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.  Interment will take place privately at the convenience of the family.  For more information, or to leave an on-line condolence, please visit www.arehart-brown.com, or see our Facebook page, Brown Funeral Home.
