Timothy Floyd

Timothy Floyd, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away on May 7, 2024, at the age of 65. Born on July 1, 1958, Tim leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories.

Tim is survived by his devoted wife of 44 years, Beverly, who stood by his side through life's journey. He is also lovingly remembered by his sons, Christopher Cody Floyd and Craig Douglas Floyd, and his three adored grandchildren. Tim's presence will be deeply missed by his brother, Scott Floyd, and his sisters Carla (Dewey) Gambrel, Angela (Mark) Taylor, and Jana Taylor. Additionally, he leaves behind two nieces, nine nephews, and several great nieces and nephews, all of whom held a special place in his heart.

A man of vibrant personality, Tim was the standout presence in any room he entered. His infectious laughter and ability to make others smile endeared him to all who had the pleasure of knowing him. Tim possessed a rare gift of striking up conversations with anyone, earning him the reputation of never meeting a stranger. He had a unique knack for assigning affectionate nicknames to those around him, a testament to his warm and inclusive nature.

He found joy in the simple pleasures of life, often spending leisure hours watching beloved classics like the Andy Griffith Show and Gunsmoke. He took pride in his yard and meticulously trimmed his bushes to perfection.

Tim was a true jack of all trades, possessing an uncanny ability to fix anything that crossed his path. With a MacGyver-like knack, he could put the "Tim touch" on any problem and find a solution. His resourcefulness and ingenuity endeared him to many, leaving a lasting impression on all who witnessed his handiwork.

Funeral services to honor and celebrate Tim's life will be held at Brown Funeral Home in Wilmington, OH, on Tuesday, May 14th. Visitation will be open to friends and family from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm, followed by a funeral service. Tim will then be escorted to his final resting place at Heritage Cemetery in Springboro, OH.

Tim’s passing leaves a void in the lives of all who knew him, but his memory will forever be cherished. May he rest in eternal peace, his spirit forever alive in the hearts of those he touched.
