Timothy Dennis Mannix, age 68, of Waynesville, passed away Thursday, January 16, 2020 at The Southview Medical Center in Dayton. He was born February 6, 1951 in Dayton, the son of the late Daniel Joseph and Ethel Naomi (Hepner) Mannix, Sr. Tim was a Veteran of the United States Air Force, serving during the Vietnam War, and had retired after working for Elder-Beerman for nearly 30 years. He enjoyed building computers and computer gaming, studying ancestry, football and Nascar, and especially enjoyed listening to talk radio. Tim is survived by his wife Virginia Lee “Ginny” (Dieterly) Mannix, to whom he married May 17, 1990 in Pidgeon Forge, Tennessee; step-children, Dianne (Mark) Dawson of Waynesville, Charles D. (Jeanette) Stingley, of Cincinnati, Christopher Lee (Brooke) Stingley of Waynesville; seven step-grandchildren; three great grandchildren; sister Teresa (David) Yoders of Ocala, Florida; brother Michael (Mugges) Mannix of Centerville; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Tim is preceded in by one sister, Nancy Buffington; and three brothers, Richard Mannix, Patrick Mannix, and Daniel Mannix, Jr. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 22, 2020 at the Cedars of Lebanon Memorial Chapel in Spring Grove Cemetery, 4521 Spring Grove Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio, 45232. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service at 2:00 p.m. at the Chapel.
