Vanessa L. (Curtis) Robinson

Vanessa L. Robinson, age 62, of Wilmington, passed away peacefully Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at the Hospice of Dayton Inpatient Care Center.  She was born August 23, 1959 in Wilmington, the daughter of the late Charles and Fredia (Garrett) Curtis.  Her life revolved around her grandchildren.  She loved them with all of her heart.  She rarely missed a sporting event her grandchildren were involved with.   Vanessa will be missed by family and friends.  She is survived by three children, Tonda Robinson of Xenia, Greg Robinson, Jr. of Las Vegas, and Christopher Dzunu of South Dakota; grandchildren, Isaiah, Trendon, Jacqueline, and Dominic; siblings, Charles Curtis of Las Vegas, Alan (Tonya) Curtis of Wilmington, and Nathan Curtis of Wilmington; several nieces and nephews; and many friends.  In addition to her parents, Vanessa is preceded in death by one sister, Tamara Curtis, and one brother Orvel Curtis.  Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday, November 18, 2021 at the Cornerstone Baptist Church, 225 Randolph Street, Wilmington, Ohio 45177.  Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. at the church.  Masks will be required to attend visitation and funeral service.  Burial will follow in the Sugar Grove Cemetery, Wilmington.  Brown Funeral Home, Wilmington, is assisting the family.  To leave an on-line condolence, please visit www.arehart-brown.com, or see our Facebook page, Brown Funeral Home.
