Vincent E. Haynes, age 57, of Port William, passed away Friday, February 5, 2021 at the Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton. He was born April 18, 1963 in Wilmington. Vincent was a truck driver, and enjoyed his work. He also enjoyed fishing, and working on anything with a gas motor. From lawn mowers, to cars and trucks, he was a master mechanic. Vincent is survived by his wife, Peggy Lynn (Brannon) Haynes, to whom he married October 15, 1988; daughter Heather Younker of Wilmington; son Scott Brannon of Wilmington; grandchildren, Matthew (Lauren Davis) Younker of Sabina, Avery Parrish Brannon of Lees Creek, Emma Younker of Sabina, and Rylee Davis of Wilmington; two sisters, Rhonda (Mark) Stevens of Wilmington and Angie Haynes of Hillsboro; brother Victor (Cassie) Haynes of Sabina; several nieces and nephews; and his beloved dogs, Chloe, Ginger, and Ty. Vincent is preceded in death by his mother Helen Flint Dawson; grandparents, Carl and Ruby Flint; sister Tonya Haynes; son-in-law Danny Younker; and several aunts, uncles, and brothers and sisters-in-law. Funeral services will be held 7:00 p.m. Thursday, February 11, 2021 at Brown Funeral Home, Wilmington. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until the time of service at 7:00m p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Interment will take place privately at the convenience of the family.
