William Ward Allen

William Ward Allen, age 53, of Sabina, passed away Wednesday January 24, 2024 at Clinton Memorial Hospital in Wilmington. William was born December 26, 1970 in Hillsboro, Ohio the son of Ward and Doris (Fite) Allen. He was a happy-go-lucky type of person that didn't know a stranger. William loved to laugh and to make others laugh as well. He enjoyed working on old cars with his son Logan and loved his family very much. He had a special relationship with his grandson Adam and enjoyed his pet cats very much. Surviving are his three sons, Dillon Allen of Missouri, Logan Allen of Sabina and Glen Allen of Lynchburg; grandchildren, Adam Lucas Allen and Melody Faith Allen; sister, Sandy (Kenny) Cunningham of Lynchburg; nephew, Richard Cunningham; nieces, Kathy (Richard) Doss and Roxann (Josh) McClain; and several great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Ward Allen. A Celebration of Life Service will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday January 31, 2024 at Brown Funeral Home, Wilmington. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m. Burial in Port William Cemetery will be held at the convenience of the family.
