William L. Shaw

William Lynne Shaw, age 69, of Manchester, Ohio, died June 22, 2024, at Christ Hospital in Cincinnati. He was born November 9, 1954, in Xenia, Ohio, the son of the late Harold L. and Evelyn F. (Messer) Shaw and had proudly served his Country in the United States Marine Corp. William enjoyed playing the mandolin and ukulele, listening to music and podcasts, working on cars and hanging out with his friends. He leaves behind a son, William (Bill) Shaw; sister, Peggy (Jonathan) Shaw-McBee; brother, Philip (Donna) Shaw; granddaughter, Mandy Shaw; great-grandson, Spencer Davis; treasured friends, Julia Hargadon, Bruce and Becky Baker, Jon Inwood, Gordy Bingham and many other close friends. William was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Evelyn Shaw. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. Saturday, June 29, 2024, at Brown Funeral Home, Wilmington. Following visitation at 3:00 p.m. Military Honors will be accorded by the American Legion Post #49 Honor Guard of Wilmington. There will be no service.
